‘Gwd Thing: Sir Benfro’ is looking for 6 creative, enthusiastic and energetic Content Creators to take part in an exciting programme combining training, mentoring and content creation – with the chance to work closely with local communities, groups and artists across the county.

Participants will receive training in digital content creation, creative marketing and community work – before using those skills to produce meaningful, engaging content for social media channels and deliver creative workshops in their local areas.

We are looking for individuals who:

– Are passionate about telling local stories and enjoy working with people.
– Use social media to share videos, photos and creative ideas.
– Have good spoken Welsh language skills.
– Can drive and have access to transport to travel around the county.
– Are eager to learn, receive mentoring and experiment with ideas.

The role will include:

– Attending training and mentoring sessions between July and October 2025.
– Creating video and digital content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
– Delivering workshops with community groups, organisations or artists.
– Sharing stories, events and local experiences in a creative and accessible way.

Job Title: Content Creator
Employer: Yr Egin, University of Wales Trinity Saint David
Location: Canolfan S4C Yr Egin and across Pembrokeshire (travel to sites/workshops required)
Reporting to: Project Coordinator
Contract Length: July – October 2025
Hours: Flexible (part-time / occasional depending on project activities)

Purpose of the Role:

To create digital content that reflects the life, creativity and stories of Pembrokeshire – through a series of training sessions, community workshops and collaborations with artists and local groups. The project will share interviews with artists, musical items and insight into the county’s creativity and activity on social media platforms. The content to be seen on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Youtube will attract attention to what is happening in Pembrokeshire through the eyes, words and creativity of the residents.

Main Tasks:

– Attend training and receive mentoring from experienced creatives.
– Develop content ideas collaboratively with the team and local communities.
– Produce and share digital content including short videos, social media stories, and engaging posts.
– Deliver workshops for community groups and artists.
– Support promotion of the project both online and offline.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Demonstrable experience or interest in creating content (e.g. video, audio, graphic design, photography).
– Familiarity with platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube.
– Enthusiasm for sharing community and local stories.
– Driving license and access to personal transport.

All content creators must be over 18. Welsh will be the main language of the project, Welsh learners and those who wish to be in a bilingual environment are welcome to apply for the role.
