Amid the untamed landscapes of Laos, a bomb forces Satu, a resilient child laborer, to flee his village. Joined by Bo, a compassionate photojournalist, he journeys north to find his long-lost mother. Shot on luminous 16mm film during the pandemic, this heartfelt road movie blends survival and hope, celebrating local talent and the vibrant beauty of Southeast Asia. 'Satu' captures the spirit of perseverance against overwhelming odds, reflecting both the challenges and rewards of its remarkable production journey. A 'Made in Wales' film by Joshua Trigg.
