Y Dewis promises to be a unique experience. The heart of the film is inspired by the stories of young people from across Wales that we gathered over four years. The journey of the five young people in the film, portrayed by internationally acclaimed dancers and performers from home and abroad, unfolds in the breath-taking but crumbling Victorian Porth Wen Brickworks, on the north coast of Anglesey. 

 What they do depends on the audience and how they choose what happens next. Two live performers will meet the audience and draw them into the film's world, encouraging the collective choices of the audience to shape the story. The live performers will uses both Welsh and English and there will be a number of performances which will incorporate a second performer who uses British Sign Language too. 

Weaving together dance, Welsh, English, and BSL with a beautiful score by Siôn Trefor, renowned Welsh film, TV, and theatre composer, the film is made in collaboration between Gwyn Emberton as the choreographer and Director with up and coming Swedish filmmakers Aaron Lindblom and Victor Söderlund Lundvall.
