“I really can’t believe that something like this can happen in the world without a bigger outcry about it. It really hurts me, again, like it has hurt me in the past, to witness how awful we can allow the world to be.”

March 2003. Rachel Corrie – a young American activist – is killed by an Israeli Army bulldozer while protecting a Palestinian home from demolition.

Taken from Rachel’s own diaries and e-mails home to her parents, this moving and deeply personal play follows her journey from teenage suburban life into the middle of the Israeli- Palestinian conflict. Recounting the cruelty and humanity she witnessed during her time in Gaza, Rachel’s words are as relevant today as ever and call on us all to act for peace.

Directed by Steffan Donnelly and performed by Hannah Daniel, this is the first time a showing of this play will be presented in Welsh with a new translation by Menna Elfyn.

The creative team also includes Maariyah Sharjil as Set and Costume Designer, Kareem Samara as Sound Designer and Elanor Higgins as Lighting Designer.
