This workshop invites school pupils from Year 6 to celebrate Dydd Miwsig Cymru (Welsh Music Day) by creating a song to celebrate the Welsh Women's football team reaching the Euros.
In this 1 hour session, led by musician Steffan Rhys, pupils will learn songwriting skills while expressing their creativity and emotions.
Skills the pupils will learn:
Storytelling and Creativity: Create a song that tells a story and expresses emotions associated with the football team's achievement.
Rhyme and Play with Words: Experiment with vocabulary and rhyme to match the rhythm and meaning of the song.
The workshop will offer pupils a fun and creative way to celebrate Dydd Miwsig Cymru, while developing important skills in songwriting, teamwork and emotional expression.
