This year marks the 24th edition of WOW, celebrating the very best of Welsh and world cinema.
Yr Egin are delighted to be showing some amazing films as part of the festival, and this will be WOW festival's first time showing at Carmarthen.
Join us as we celebrate 24 incredible years of WOW and the power of cinema to connect and inspire.

On second day of the festival at Yr Egin (25.03.2025), we'll be hosting workshops as well as showing some amazing films, to note Eco Cinema Day.

Here's an idea of how 'Eco Cinema Day' will run:
9:45am Start the day with a presentation from Gruffydd Wyn Roberts (Events and Projects Co-ordinator) at Yr Egin.
10:00am Film: The Waste Common (1 hour) - You will need to purchase a ticket for this film. TICKET HERE.
11:00am Discussion: An opportunity to discuss what worries people about the river here in Carmarthenshire.
11:30am Film: Rave on The Avon (1 hour, 26 mins) -You will need to purchase a ticket for this film.
13:00pm Q+A session with Charlotte Sawyer (director of Rave on the Avon) TICKET HERE.
13:30 - 14:30pm: Lunch and discussion. * Please bring lunch with you, or we have a café on site)
14:30 – 16:00pm 'Longing for a river' workshop run by Rebecca Kelly - WORK | rebecca-wyn-kelly
16:30pm Film: The Battle of Laikipia (1 hour 34mins) -You will need to purchase a ticket for this film. TICKET HERE
