POWER STATION follows a community’s mission to transform their London street into a solar-powered hub, bringing clean energy to local schools and homes.

Channelling Withnail and I comedy the film charts the financial and emotional trials and tribulations of making change together.  From sleeping on rooftops to growing thousands of sunflowers and attempts at a Christmas number one! Community spirit, vision and a dash of eccentricity and resilience are at the heart of this documentary with the result being everyday magic.

Directed by Dan Edelstyn and Hilary Powell, two artist activists who were inspired by lockdown mutual aid initiatives. Funny and heartwarming, Powell and Edelstyn’s film is a vibrant portrait of their local neighbourhood, and a charming testament to the power of art in making change.

The film will be followed by a Q & A session with the directors and representatives from Ynni Sir Gâr and Localmotion.
